Tac Truck (Plant2) seasonal

Job Summary:
Responsible to safely operate and drive truck equipped with tank to spray oil or bituminous emulsions on road surfaces.
Minimum Qualifications:
General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma or equivalent

3. Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.

4. Valid Class A or B CDL license with tanker endorsement

Duties and Responsibilities
Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.

2. Safely and properly perform maintenance (lubricating, fueling and cleaning) on oil truck.

3. Safely and properly operates truck equipped with oil or bituminous emulsions.

4. Connects hose from storage tank to truck tank and moves lever to fill pressure tank with bituminous liquid.

5. Regulates burner to heat liquid and starts auxiliary pump.

6. Drives truck at constant speed.

7. Completes load tickets

8. Assists construction crews while waiting to unload

9. Maintains proper information in truck cab pouch

10. Inventory and order tac

11. Cleans tac nozzles

12. Barricades commercial parking lots

13. Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.

14. Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.). Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors.

15. Ensure OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance.

16. Performs other duties as assigned.
