ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Installation/general maintenance of HVAC and/or Refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose and repair problems
- Provide service in a variety of commercial or residential settings
- Must have Technical Schooling Degree or Equivalent Experience
- EPA Certification for handling Refrigeration
- Must have a PLT license or be registered with the state as a Registered Unlicensed PLT or apply for your Registered Unlicensed PLT within 90 days of your start date.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a neat and clean appearance.
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs as necessary and up to 50lbs repetitively.
- Ability to climb up and down a ladder carrying tools, equipment, and/or parts in a safe manner.
- Ability to work efficiently given time constraints, extreme weather conditions, varying customer needs and demands, and back-log constraints.
- Valid Class D License
- Mechanical ability and excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
- After hours/on-call service availability
- Proficient in use of computer programs and technology related to the position
- Interest and initiative in maintaining HVAC and Refrigeration skills through a combination of self-study, workshops, on the job training and other development activities.
