ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Installation of refrigeration systems/piping
• Installation of walk-in coolers and freezers
• Installation of food service equipment
• System start-up/troubleshooting
• Out of town travel required depending on jobsite location
• Four (4) day work week

• Performs other allied duties as assigned by supervisor

• HVAC/R or Plumbing degree or two years field experience preferred, but not required
• Good oral and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' installation instructions and to clearly communicate with commercial customers, suppliers, and company personnel
• Must have a PLT license or be registered with the state as a Registered Unlicensed PLT or apply for your Registered Unlicensed PLT within 90 days of your start date.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a neat and clean appearance.
• Interest and initiative in maintaining his/her refrigeration skills through a combination of self-study, corporate training, workshops, and other development activities
• Valid drivers license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to work efficiently given time pressures, non-standard schedule, varying customer needs and demands
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs as necessary and up to 50lbs repetitively.
• Ability to climb up and down a ladder carrying tools, equipment, and/or parts in a safe manner.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
• Mechanical ability and excellent problem solving skills
