The Department of Nursing Science is developing and will offer a graduate program in Nursing. The department will seek accreditation/approval through the Minnesota Board of Nursing and Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The Master's degree in Nursing program will prepare graduates for certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. This innovative program will be supported, in part, by a $1.5M gift from CentraCare Health, one of the largest health systems in Minnesota.

The Department of Nursing Science offers an undergraduate program within the nursing discipline and is a fully accredited member of the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

The four-year Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing (BS), a traditional pre-licensure program, is a 68-credit major preparing caring professional clinicians for practice in contemporary health care settings.

The RN-BS completion program is fully online and includes 30 upper division Nursing credits. Students with a previous AA, BS, or BA degree may complete the traditional program in less than four years.
