Starting pay $18/hour + $1 Shift Differential

JOB SUMMARY: As the Automatic Booth Operator, you will be responsible for the layout, abrasive blasting, and detailing of monumental stones in accordance with design and production ticket specifications.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Verifying order details; reading production tickets
- Using the overhead crane to move granite stone to the automatic blasting conveyor
- Inspecting granite for defects before and after each step of the process
- Applying rubber stencil to the stone using glue and brushes
- Matching and coordinating stencils to the appropriate stones
- Mixing lithochrome, shadow, and highlight paints as needed
- Cross-training in other positions as needed
- Troubleshooting and resolving minor equipment issues as needed
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:
- Who has strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- The ability to read a tape measure; both imperial and metric
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Stands for the entire shift
- Repetitive lifting, carrying, walking, pushing, pulling
- Lifts up to 30 lbs. or more
- Wears protective safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, and whatever the job requires
