Job Announcement

Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill Seasonal AIS Watercraft Decontamination Specialist positions at French Regional Park in Plymouth, MN. This position is responsible for informing and educating the public to the threats of ecologically harmful aquatic invasive species to Minnesota's waters. Inspectors work at public water access sites educating the public by providing invasive species information to watercraft users and conducting a brief survey while inspecting watercraft and providing voluntary watercraft decontamination services utilizing high pressure hot water. This position is also responsible for performing a variety of customer service tasks that assures an efficient, safe, and clean operation while providing park guests the highest quality service possible.

STARTING RANGE: $16.50 - $18.00/hour

Essential Duties and Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age. Valid Minnesota Class D Driver's License, upon appointment. Must either be certified as a Level II Watercraft Inspector/Decontaminator by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) upon appointment or be able to obtain certification within two weeks of date of hire.
