Job Description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Travels to and works in required locations with the possibility of short notice.
  • Inspects cranes with the scrutiny of annual inspection criteria.
  • Works flexible shifts to respond quickly to malfunctioning cranes.
  • Identifies problems/potential problems with cranes, formulates a plan for repair, uses proper processes and procedure for ordering parts, performs all necessary repairs, and tests functionality.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Technical knowledge obtained through a 2-year post-secondary degree in diesel equipment mechanics or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Six to Eight years of experience in a field service technician role supporting construction equipment. Extensive crane maintenance, diagnosis and repair experience is required.
  • Ability to travel full time.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, CDL, and acceptable vehicle driving record (Motor Vehicle driving Record).

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

  • NCCCO (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) or equivalent OSHA recognized certification is preferred.
