Job Duties:
# Effectively manage production areas so that production output meets the production schedule.
# Maintain optimal line speed and staffing requirements.
# Effectively communicate with incoming and outgoing shifts as it is related to the optimal running of production lines.
# Provide feedback to production staff as it relates to performance, utilize line stop mentality when it comes to equipment or quality issues.
# Demonstrate and train line change over activities to make sure they occur in the minimum time with 100% readiness.
# Maintain and improve production portion of the company#s quality and safety systems, coach and mentor line workers and ensure equipment meets company clean and sanitary standards.
# Ensure a safe work environment is maintained in all aspects, documenting all reports, including incident information as it relates to first reports of injury, resolves issues on a daily basis.

Requirements:
# 2 years experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably custom packaging
# 1-5 years experience in a Production Line Lead role in a manufacturing environment required
# Position requires a high school diploma or GED
# Knowledge of working in a production or assembly environment while multi-tasking the operation of a production line.
# Good technical competencies are required, working knowledge of personal computer operation, Microsoft XP or higher.
# Must be able to work overtime when needed
# Must be able to successfully pass a drug test & background check
