Electrical Engineer

ION Corporation, a Minnetonka, MN, growth oriented, aerospace design and electronic engineering and manufacturing company is hiring for an Electrical Engineer.  This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual with room for growth.

Position Summary
Electrical Engineer will assist the ION Design Team in daily design activities.  Electrical Engineer will work with manufacturing in the fabrication of prototype equipment, printed circuit board design (OrCAD),  embedded systems design and will be involved in ground up design efforts for various types of equipment.  Electrical Engineer will report to Managing Electrical Engineer.  Candidate must be a motivated self-starter who can work with little or no supervision once assigned a task. 

Basic Qualifications

• US Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 2-5 years
• Must be able to read schematics
• Understanding of PCB materials and components
• Experience using OrCAD software
• Microsoft Office

• AutoCAD
• LabView
• Controls Experience
